Professionals, Senior Managers, and  Executives
"The Best Web Sites for Job Hunters"
from the National Business Employment Weekly
JOBTRAK (http://www.jobtrak.com) see site summary below  Specialty: college graduate market

In their Nov 15-21, 1998 issue, the National Business Employment Weekly (the paper version) published an article called "The Best Web Sites for Job Hunters," in which they rank what they consider the best websites for job seekers. the above site was one of those "best" sites.
NBEW evaluated only websites which they had reviewed in their paper. They only review sites which they think fit the following two criteria:
Their services are particularly suited to professionals, senior managers, and executives
"They offer advice and job opportunities in a broad array of fields, from engineering and airline fields to regional and minority groups."

Job Choices Online a nicely designed site by the folks at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). The site includes: articles on job search, chat rooms for career advice, a place to send questions to career experts, information on the healthcare industry, plus links to job resources found on the internet.

AARP, or the American Association of Retired Persons

Green Thumb
Green Thumb, a national nonprofit corporation best known as our country's
leader in the field of older worker employment and training, has found the lack
of computer skills to be a significant barrier to employment for older
Americans, many of whom missed out on the computer revolution.

For more than three decades, Green Thumb has preached the gospel that a
person is never too old to work, learn, or start a new career. Green Thumb
and Microsoft Skills 2000 have partnered to bring this philosophy to life for
hundreds of older Americans seeking to enter the information technology (IT)
field. The two companies have forged an innovative alliance to address the
growing IT skills shortage by training limited-income individuals age 55 and
older as Desktop Support Specialists, Technical Support Specialists, Help
Desk Specialists, and Network Administrators.
